Training Development & Delivery

At BlackCSI, business training is typically enveloped with project management, as we coordinate training from start to finish through a process which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Our business training consultants work diligently with subject matter experts to create effective training materials and instructional delivery methods. Whether training is provided via the web, in traditional classroom style, or by a blended approach, it is designed to suit each client’s specific needs. Our skilled trainers deliver the instructional materials to trainers or individual users, and at the conclusion of training, we evaluate the project to ensure that the client’s training objectives have been met.

Major Contracts and Projects

ACS - Medical Management Review System Project (MMRS)

The Medical Management Review System (MMRS) coordinates and integrates all phases of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare’s care management program. MMRS provides a single entry point for all work by drawing and displaying real-time claims history and eligibility information from PROMISe, CIS and eCIS. Using this information, the user can log and track provider/recipient service inquiries, view utilization of benefits/services, create prior authorizations for services, and determine eligibility.

BlackCSI had responsibility on this project to assist in system testing as well as full responsibility for coordinating the User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities and for the development of the end user training program. This included the development of the end user training materials (user guide, help aides, simulations, and exercise), as well as the delivery of the curriculum to the end user community.

IBM - Unemployment Compensation Modernization System Project (UCMS)

On the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Unemployment Compensation Modernization System (UCMS) project, BlackCSI had responsibility for all aspects of training, to include the training and knowledge transfer of technology to the information systems staff, as well as the development of the end user training curricula. BlackCSI had full responsibility for the development of the end user training materials using the Department of Labor and Industry’s training development tool, OnDemand. Additionally, BlackCSI was responsible for the implementation and management of the Train-the-Trainer (T3) program which prepared the DLI trainers to teach the course curricula to the end user staff across the Commonwealth. This effort also involved the administration and management of the logistical aspects of statewide training using the Commonwealth’s LMS.
